Best Damn Salmon Ever..

I know that I created the Kitchen Sink Beef Blend for Beef - but it has so many more uses. It’s delicious on Chicken and THE BEST ON SALMON! I am very fortunate to live in the Pacific Northwest with an avid fisherman for a husband. We have Salmon coming out of our ears right now. Which is awesome, because if not I would be going broke buying it. Plus it’s so easy and so fast. Even though it sucks to turn the oven on during what we are experiencing as HOTPOCALYPSE 2009, you only need to use the broiler function for 10 minutes.

Grab a cookie sheet, (I usalmonse an old one that has outlived it’s cookie days) spread it with some olive oil so it doesnt stick. Lay it out, sprinkle with some kosher salt.    Now for the hard part - Take 2tbs of Kitchen Sink Blend and mix with 2tbs olive oil. Whisk together. Spread evenly over salmon. Broil on high for a couple minutes until salmon is done. Yum. It is good hot, it is good cold, it is just absolutely delicious!

So head over and buy KITCHEN SINK BEEF BLEND and remember ALL proceeds go directly to a mother of 7 battling breast cancer who is in danger of loosing her house

F It Up Baguette

This is a delicious, super easy recipe for French bread. My kiddo likes to help in punching the bread down and kneading.

1 envelope dry yeast
1 tbsp. sugar
1 tsp. salt
2 c. warm water
4 c. flour
2tbsp. “F It Up Salt”

In a large bowl dissolve yeast, sugar, salt and warm water. Let stand 10 minutes. Stir in 4 cups flour. Turn out onto floured surface. Lift and turn dough which is very soft, until it sticks enough to knead. Add more flour if necessary. Knead 10 minutes or until smooth and elastic. Put in clean bowl, cover and let rise in warm place until doubled (45 minutes). Turn dough out onto floured surface, pat flat and dust with flour. Fold in half and then half again. Return to bowl and let rise 30 minutes. Turn dough out onto floured surface, divide into 4 pieces. Roll each piece into a ball and let rest 5 minutes. Shape each ball into an oval and roll up like a jelly roll. Place on greased sheet. Let rise until almost double. Brush loaves with well-beaten egg and water mixture, sprinkle with F IT UP SALT. Bake in 450 degree oven for 20 to 25 minutes.
